Holy Ghost Church
The miner’s chapel was consecrated in 1455 by cardinal Nikolaus Cusanus.
As a pilgrim chapel every year it attracts thousands of faithful. Among those also the former Cardinal Ratzinger, who later became Pope Benedict XVI.
Behind the chapel the so called sharpening stone is located. According to heathen custom and could scrape away sins by passing by.
