Lausitzer trail no 13

A high alpine hiking trail, which runs at a height from approx. 2500 m from the Birnlücke to the Hundskehljoch.

This trail was built in the year 1904 from German and Austrian alpine association section Leipzig and in the 70’s again re-built.

The historic Krimmler-Tauern-Trail (14) and the trail to the Heilig Geist Jöchel (15) or the way to the Hundskehljoch (16b) can be used as descend alternates. Since the trail is quite curvy in the single mountain recesses, you can’t therefore overlook the length of the trail!!
